The Service is strictly intended for internal business use by authorized UMMS employees and affiliated entities only.
Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Intuitships-UMMS web application (intuitships-umms.com) and the Intuit U mobile application (Android and iOS). It does not apply to public websites, marketing platforms, or consumer applications.
⚠️ The Service is not publicly accessible. There is no open sign-up functionality. Access is granted exclusively to authorized UMMS personnel.

How We Use Data
Personal data is processed only when a valid legal basis exists under GDPR, including performance of a contract, legal obligations (maritime labor and safety regulations), legitimate interests (security, audit, compliance), and explicit consent where applicable.
We Never
- Use the Service for advertising or marketing
- Sell or monetize personal data
- Track users for behavioral advertising
User Accounts & Access Control
- Only approved UMMS employees can access the Service
- User accounts are created only by authorized UMMS administrators via the web application
- No self-registration or sign-up is available, including on mobile apps
- Employee ID is used as the login username
- When employment ends, accounts are deactivated immediately and data is permanently deleted after the retention period
Data Retention & Deletion
Active employee data is retained only during employment. Upon termination, data is purged within 30 days. No residual personal data is retained beyond legal or regulatory requirements.
Users cannot delete their own accounts, as account management follows UMMS HR policies.
Data Sharing and Transfers
Personal data may be shared only with authorized UMMS personnel, regulatory authorities (when legally required), and infrastructure and service providers supporting system operations.
